Capcom Sticking By UMD, For Better Or Worse
By Dr. Evelyn Thorne | October 12, 2025
The writing is on the wall for the poor old UMD. First Patapon 2 goes download-only, then Fate/Unlimited Codes, then we hear another rumour of a UMD-less PlayStation Portable. But it’s not dead yet!

No, riches777 Capcom will be sticking by Sony’s beleaguered proprietary format, telling British trade site MCV:
We certainly do not intend to stop supporting UMD. Certainly for us PSP is very important – more so with Monster Hunter coming – than maybe any other publisher
That should answer any questions you have as to why they’re sticking with it. There are millions of people who own Monster Hunter on UMD. Meaning there are millions of people who own PSPs that g2g1bet play Monster Hunter UMDs. If there’s only one game left being produced on UMD in the PG SLOT dark, distant future, it will be Monster Hunter.

I wish there were more free spins available, but even with the current promotions, I have a lot of fun. The themed slot games are creative and engaging, keeping the gameplay fresh and entertaining every day.

The bonuses are nice and offer great value, although they could be a bit more frequent. I love being part of the VIP program, which gives me extra rewards and makes me feel appreciated as a loyal player.
